Metrogel Reviews
Specifically formulated to control and treat acne and rosacea, Metrogel is a prescription medication made by Gladerma Laboratories. Currently only available officially in the USA, it differs from some other treatments in that it uses an antibiotic called “metronidazole” as its main active ingredient. How to Use Metrogel?

The ingredients of Metrogel are delivered in a 92% water based gel, currently mainly available on prescription, it can be purchased from some outlets for around $160 which makes it one of the most expensive treatments available. Metrogel is costly, but that said the manufacturer tells us that each 60 gram tube will last a very long time as only a small amount of product is required on each application.
Metrogel Side Effects
There are records of side effects from using Metrogel, these have included stinging or burning sensation to the skin, dryness, tingling or numbness of the skin and a metallic taste in the mouth. Some more several reactions have also been reported including hives, shortness of breath, swelling of the mouth lips and tongue. These in particular are more than likely to be a bad reaction to the main active ingredient metronidazole.
Other users have reported that using Metrogel has made them resistant to other antibiotics, the general thought is that unless you are being totally monitored by your doctor and you have been given this on prescription its best to give this product a wide berth.
