BenzaClin Reviews
BenzaClin, marketed by Sanofi-
P.acnes (Propionibacterium acnes) the bacteria responsible for causing acne is reduced by benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin when combined reduces the amount of P.acnes residue on the skin that can lead to spots. It works especially well on very inflamed angry break outs. BenzaClin is to be applied to affected areas thinly but evenly to freshly cleansed skin, twice a day, in the morning and evening is sufficient. It may take time to see any real improvement in your skin and it may look as if your acne is worsening but you need to stick at the treatment for at least 3 months (12 weeks). It has a use by date and should be used within that time.
BenzaClin Side Effects
BenzaClin does as with all acne products, has some side effects. Some mild ones would include:
• Dryer skin than usual
• Redness, irritation or rash around face
• Itching
• Flaky, peeling skin
• Sensitivity to the sun
• (Not so much a side effect as a warning; Keep product away from hair and other materials as it can bleach fabric)
These should subside as your body gets used to the medication but if the problem persists, see your doctor.
More serious side effects include:
• Diarrhoea
• Fungal infections, i.e.) athletes foot
• Stomach pain/cramps
• Passing bloody stools when going to the toilet
It has to be noted that these side effects happen very rarely and is more common with someone with sensitivity to benzoyl peroxide or clindamycin. If you are sensitive to these ingredients then you should not use BenzaClin. If you have Crohn’s disease or Colitis you should also not use BenzaClin.
Where to Buy BenzaClin?
BenzaClin cannot be bought without a prescription. Because BenzaClin is a prescription treatment and not a natural acne treatment, the doctor needs to know all medical history and existing medications you are using. Also pregnant women should avoid the use of BenzaClin as the effects of the drug to the unborn child are not known.
BenzaClin certainly can be of benefit to acne sufferers especially if over-
It is worth discussing with your doctor if there are any other gentler alternatives to control your acne.
