Zeno Acne Clearing Device is a handheld portable electronic device that works to clear spots and pimples. It is one of only a few devices that actually approved by the FDA for acne treatment. The manufacturer of the Zeno system, namely Tyrell Inc, claims that it can cure pimples within about 24 hrs, it is however primarily designed for use on mild cases of acne.
How Does Zeno Work?
Zeno Acne Clearing Device works on the principle that heat will destroy the bacteria in the pores. These pores get blocked when excess sebum (oil) blocks the follicles and pores in the skin allowing the bacteria to develop and allow spots to develop.
Zeno Acne Clearing Device works by applying the special treatment tip to the surface of the spot, the button is pushed and should be held for a period of time to allow the heat to flow into the affected area. The heat will (according to the manufacturer) cause the bacteria to produce a protein which hinders their growth, in effect making themselves destruct. The result is that the pimples will diminish and disappear.
This product does not need a prescription; it is free from any irritating ingredients that can affect the skin. While Zeno will treat mild to moderate acne, it has no effect on blackheads and whiteheads, and severe cases of acne such as cystic acne. It is most effective when used on developing pimples; fully formed ones are not normally affected by the Zeno system. Temporary redness of the skin can be experienced following its use.
