Vilantae Reviews

Vilantae is different to other acne treatments in that it is not a topically applied cream or lotion; instead it is a supplement that works to target the cause of your acne from within. Vilantae has been designed to halt the production of too much sebum (excess oil) in the skin. The reason behind this is that with lesser oil in the skin, a lot of forms of acne will begin to disappear. There are of course other types of acne that are not brought on by excess sebum; Vilantae will only have limited effect on these types.

How Does Vilantae Work?

Vilantae uses a form of vitamin B5 known as D-Calcium Pantothenate. Research carried out some 15 years ago demonstrated that this vitamin encouraged the production of an enzyme called Coenzyme A which will reduce the over production of oil in the skin.

While the theory behind Vilantae is sound, many experts say that for this product to work properly and to get the correct dose of D-Calcium Pantothenate, users would have to consume at least 20 capsules per day. This is somewhat inconvenient and potentially worrying. The manufacturer simply states that as this product is all natural it should have no adverse effect on the user, no matter how much is taken.

The manufacturer claims extensive studies have been carried out on Vilantae, but we can reveal that the initial study on Vilantae only involved 20 test subjects, this is nowhere near enough people to get a true reading of just how good (or bad) Vilantae is.

Does Vilantae Really Work?

There have been some side effects reported with the use of Vilantae: some users have said that their acne has got worse before getting better, although this is common to many acne treatments, other claims include stomach problems, headaches and diarrhoea.

The product does have some advantages in that it doesn’t cause intense skin dryness associated with some other topical treatments. It is also available in liquid form for those who are uncomfortable taking capsules.

Cost wise, Vilantae is sold from the official website for around $49.95 for a month’s supply of capsules whether this is good value will depend on the severity of the users acne, as it works to stop the oil production, it is possible that any acne will return if the consumption of the tablets ceases.
